1800 members are caught up in the fallout of the Spectrum takeover of TIme Warner Cable. Spectrum does not want to continue making contributions to the pension plan and wants to diminish medical benefits-both part of prior contract negotiations. The cable tech workers are not demanding MORE from Spectrum-they are asking Spectrum honor the status quo. I wholeheartedly support their position and believe negotiated union benefits should be protected regardless of a change in ownership.
